Prawn Curry
It is a typical dish of the Indo-Portuguese cuisine of Goa, Damão and Diu.
Ingredients

1 onion, diced

2 cm grated ginger

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1 green pepper, diced

200g tomatoes, chopped

250g shrimps, peeled

2 tbsp fresh coriander
Preparation Method
- Fry 1 chopped onion in 2 tbsp oil until soft.
- Add the ginger and garlic and squeeze 3 tbsp spice paste into the pan (1 tbsp = 15g).
- Add the pepper and cook for 1 min. Add 50 ml water and cook until the water evaporates. Add the chopped tomatoes.
- Cook for 2 mins, add the prawns, and cook uncovered for 3-5 mins until cooked through. Stir in fresh coriander to serve
