Jasmine Rice with Coconut Milk
Jasmine rice is an aromatic type that is often used with spicy foods, flavours with earthy spices such as cinnamon and cloves, dishes that have more fat and sautéed food. It is typical of Thailand.

Preparation Method
- In a small saucepan, mix the rice with 1 cup of water and the coconut milk. Season with salt and bring to a boil.
- Cover with a lid and cook over medium-low heat until the rice is almost tender, for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let finish with the lid closed for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Slowly loosen the rice with a fork and serve with lemon slices on the side to squeeze when eating.
