Ham Salad with Fourme d’Ambert Cheese

Ingredients

  • 200 g of lettuce
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 200 g Fourme d'Ambert cheese
  • 200 g of mushrooms
  • 12 walnut kernels
  • Croutons (optional)

Preparation Method

  1. Wash and dry the lettuce. Roll up the ham slices and cut them into sections of about 4 cm.
  2. Wash the mushrooms well. Remove the stem of the button mushrooms, cut the caps into thin slices.
  3. Place them in a bowl and immediately drizzle them with lemon juice.
  4. Cut the Fourme d’Ambert cheese into strips.
  5. Prepare the croutons with the leftover stale bread. Cut thin slices, rub them on both sides with garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and place on the oven rack for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, prepare the sauce by mixing a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, mustard, vinegar, and both oils. Emulsify with a fork.
  7. In a large bowl, mix the ingredients, pour the sauce. Mix gently and serve immediately.
