Chumaki – Sushi Roll
This is the best and simplest way to start making sushi at home. Chumaki means medium-sized roll and is ideal for sushi with fillings that consist of more than one ingredient, which means you can get creative with the filling!
Ingredients

Avocado, cucumber, red pepper or other vegetables of your choice

Preparation Method
- Cut the vegetables and salmon into strips.
- Lay the mat horizontally and place the nori on top, rough side up.
- Wet your hands and spread the seasoned sushi rice. Leave 6 cm of space at the top of the nori.
- Spread wasabi in the center (optional).
- Place the fillings next to each other, but try not to overfill.
- Lift the end closest to the bamboo mat and roll it.
- Squeeze firmly and keep rolling until the end.
- Wet a sharp knife and cut it into pieces. (Wet the knife between cuts.)
- Enjoy with ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce sushi.
