Cashew Drink

The cashews after soaking are soft and smooth, completely easy to crush, and therefore this cashew milk does not need to be strained.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cashews (raw)
  • 8 cups of water

Preparation Method

  1. First of all, you need to soak the cashews for about 4 hours or overnight in the fridge.
  2. In addition to making them soft and mushy, it will eliminate phytates (anti-nutrients).
  3. After this time, discard the soaking water and wash the cashews well under running water.
  4. In a blender or with a magic wand, place the cashews and water. Grind for about 5/7 minutes until you get a milky and creamy liquid.
  5. It is not necessary to strain but if you prefer you can do it.
  6. However, there are no leftovers like in almond milk, and all cashews are practically wrapped in milk.
  7. Place in a container (preferably glass) in the fridge for about 3 to 4 days (preferably in the coldest part of it).
