Carrot Cake with Crisp Butter Frosting

Check out this simple and easy to make cake recipe. A carrot cake that goes great with a coffee.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix the eggs and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Melt the butter for a few seconds in the microwave and add to the mixture with the milk.
  4. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Mix well and add the carrots with a spoon.
  6. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, or until you insert a knife into the center of the cake and it comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool at room temperature before preparing the frosting.
  8. When the cake has cooled completely, mix the icing sugar and water in a small bowl and pour over the cake.
  9. Cut 4 Crisps of butter into small pieces and spread over the top of the cake.
