Brown Rice with Tuna and Peas
Slightly crunchy, this long-grain brown rice offers a subtle nutty aroma. As well as being colourful, it is rich in fibre, and also vitamins.
Ingredients

30g finely chopped onion

720ml boiling water

2 tbsp butter

4 tbsp (tablespoons) peas

1 tbsp (tablespoon) chopped parsley
Preparation Method
- In a medium saucepan, sauté the onion with the olive oil until it starts to brown.
- Add the rice and sauté for a long time.
- Add the boiling water and salt. When it returns to boil, lower the heat, cover the pan and cook for about 40 minutes or until the rice is cooked and without liquid. Set aside.
- In a frying pan, heat the butter and add the peas. Cook stirring constantly and finally add the parsley.
- Wrap the peas in the rice. Distribute the tuna over the rice when serving.
