Beef Steaks with Green Pepper

600 g of beef rump

20 g of green peppercorns

Preparation Method
- Cut the rump into steaks 1 to 2 cm thick and season with salt. Heat the oil in a frying pan with the peeled and crushed garlic cloves and let it heat up.
- Add the steaks and let them fry very well on both sides.
- Remove the steaks, add the white wine to the same skillet, let it boil until the alcohol evaporates, add the cream and peppercorns and cook until thickened. Rectify the salt.
- Place the steaks on a platter or plates, drizzle with the sauce and serve. Serve with a mixed salad and sautéed spaghetti.
Chef’s Tip: 2cm steaks are thick. Let them fry, without cutting them, until they are golden brown on the outside and on both sides. That way they are soft and juicy inside.
