A versatile, palate-cleansing garnish for your sushi and other Japanese dishes. This small jar is packed full of thin ginger slices pickled in a sweet/sour solution. The most common way of enjoying sushi ginger is, as the name suggests, as an accompaniment to freshly prepared sushi. However, this ginger also goes beautifully with rice and miso soup, or even on its own as a bar snack.
Fantastic to clear the palette after raw fish, this sushi ginger has a sweet, light pickle taste and is extremely moreish! You can even use it in stir fries and cooked dishes as a handy ginger addition.
Ingredients:
Ginger (66%), Water, Salt, Acidity regulators [Citric acid, Acetic acid], Sweeteners [Aspartame*, Saccharin, Sucralose]. *Contains a source of Phenylalanine.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 1 week.
Usage Suggestions:
Pickled ginger slices for sushi. Please eat between sushi to cleanse the palate.
