Product Description
The Trumpeter Malbec – Syrah is a concentrated but supple blend with aromas of crushed berries, chocolate, and tobacco. Complex flavors of berry fruit, with gamey and toasty notes from the time spent in the oak. Sweet smooth tannins and good length.
VARIETAL: 50% Malbec, 50% Syrah.
VINEYARDS: Tupungato, Mendoza.
MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: 100%.
OAK REGIMEN: 40% New American oak, 40% new French oak, 20% 2nd and 3rd use French Oak for 7 months.
WINEMAKER: Mariano Di Paola.
FOOD PAIRING: Beef, Lamb, Spicy food, Mature and hard cheese, Poultry.
