Deep red with dazzling violet hints. On the nose, this is a complex, elegant red with very diverse floral and fruit notes with a subtle touch of aniseed. A wine of great concentration in the mouth, very long and complex finish. The broad fruitiness and depth are complemented by some licorice characteristics from the La Consulta terroir. Some hints of cocoa and coffee are imparted from the use of medium-toast barrels.
