This Thai rice, Hom Mali, is delicate and delicious, long and fine grained, with a natural flavour.
Thai jasmine rice is famous for the aroma of a very particular land where it comes from and mainly from ISSAM province (Northeast Thailand).
For several months, the monsoons irrigate the land and only at maturity, the rice is harvested once a year by hand using ancestral methods.
It is considered a benchmark and its soft texture makes it ideal for eating with chopsticks. It is pearly white its freshness and aroma, the light floral flavour is reminiscent of the aroma of jasmine (Mali in Thai).

Keep in cool, dry place.
Preparation Suggestion:
From 3 volumes of rice to just 4 volumes of cold water. Place the rice in a pan of cold water, cover and bring to a medium heat. The cooking time for jasmine rice is relatively short, 7 to 10 minutes. When the water is absorbed, taste the rice. If desired, you can continue cooking for a few seconds to make it softer. Once the cooking is finished, carefully stir the rice with a spatula to aerate the grains. It will become soft and slightly sticky.
Usage Suggestions:
It is advisable to taste it in its natural state, without adding butter or oil, salt or pepper.
