Product Description
These Trout Roes come from “Rainbow Trout”. Caught between October and November, at fertile period of this species that provides a product which is so attractive to the eye as to the palate.
Wanted as an alternative to Caviar, trout roes are larger with a more delicate taste and odor. They have a golden colour but may become reddish when added astaxanthin to fish feed.
Besides its pigmenting power, it is known as being the “king of carotenoids” for being the most powerful in its antioxidant action, bringing numerous benefits to human health.
