Launched in 2011, this range of Eau-de-Vie Massenez, Origine, offers exceptional smoothness in the mouth thanks to exceptional blends and the touch of Pera Williams.
This bottle is inspired by the first bottle used by the Massenez distillery in 1870, as a return to the origins.
Tasting Notes:
Aspect
Clear colourless which may show yellowish-green reflections from its ageing with a characteristic Fruit Eaux-de-Vie sheen. Flexible and fluid Eau-de-vie.
Nose
French and typical of Poire William, without foreign notes. This intense scent marks the quality of the selection of original fruits and the delicacy of the distillation. Very fruity and persistent aroma that is a real invitation to taste.
Palate
Eau de Vie distinguished by its intensity and suppleness, its typicality and persistence. The ‘grain’ of the pear is found in all its roundness.
– Very intense floral note with great freshness in the mouth.
– Intense fruity note, being at first perception that of fresh fruit to which overlaps ripe fruit and fruit in marmalade or jam.
-Spicy note in the finish very present with a liquorice note quite typical of Poire William.
