Lemercier absinthe quickly became the top of the range of this family distillery and was called “Abisinthe” after the 1915 decree banning its marketing.
Produced by Distillerie Lemercier Frères, this absinthe called Abisinthe®, comes exactly from the distillery’s original absinthe recipes. The plants and seeds are carefully selected and then macerated and distilled.
Tasting notes: Appearance light green. On the nose presents vegetal notes followed by absinthe and a lavender finish. On the palate it has notes of wormwood followed by fennel and aniseed and a spicy and liquorice finish. Goes well with smoked ham.
