Harissa is a spicy paste from Tunisia made from peppers and spices. It usually accompanies meals in all the Maghreb countries (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia…), especially the famous couscous.
Because it is widely used in Tunisian cuisine, it is sometimes described as “Tunisia’s main condiment” and even “Tunisia’s national condiment”.
Ingredients:
Peppers, garlic, water, salt, acidity corrector: acetic acid.
Storage:
After open keep refrigerated.
Usage Suggestions:
Its spicy flavour will spice up your sauces or accompany your meat and fish.
