Product Description
Nevis trout is smoked. The bone is removed and the fillets are cut to tin size and preserved in extra virgin olive oil. It is a highly prized river fish and a natural source of protein, vitamins, minerals and Omega-3s. Already in the Middle Ages, trout occupied a prominent place at the table of the European nobles, who delighted in its delicately flavoured flesh.
In this new line, Nevis, the preserves are smoked in a wood-fired oven until golden brown and full of natural flavour.
With totally natural ingredients, without preservatives, and combined with the authentic and ancient wood smoking techniques, these new products emerge as a Tasty, Healthy and Traditional delicacy.
